New project - Supporting interregional collaborations in East Central Sweden

There is a big need for larger collaborations in the automotive industry among different stakeholders in the academia, innovation environments and SMEs. For that reason, the latest initiated project in Fordonsdalen started in April 2022 with the aim to clarify, initiate new and/or support collaborations in the regions in East Central Sweden- Västmanland, Sörmland, Örebro, Östergötland, Uppsala and Stockholm. In East Central Sweden there are hundreds of SMEs and subcontractors to the larger automotive companies in Sweden, such as Scania and Volvo. In every region, there are lots of ongoing initiatives and advanced research in e.g visualisation, batteries, software development and smarter production chain.
