Fordonsdalen: Arena

Region Stockholm has the main responsibility for this Work Packages. Today's automotive industry can develop and strengthen its competitiveness with expertise from other industries, especially IT and Telecom. The Stockholm region is well placed to develop unique competence and thereby Strengthen Companies transition, innovation capacity and competitiveness. The work will also result in a proposal for the arena's direction, long-term goals and orientations for the arena as well as an organizational, financial and liability solution.

The Fordonsdalen React project was a collaboration between Region Stockholm, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Kista Science City from 2021 to 2023. The project was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and Region Stockholm’s regional development funds. The overall goal of this collaboration was to enable the green and digital transformation of SMEs in the region’s automotive industry, leading to increased innovation capacity and competitiveness.
